General Safety Guidelines

  • Gas Safety & Odors

If you smell gas, do not strike a match, operate electrical switches, or use any phone in your building. Immediately evacuate the area, leave doors open, and call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone.

  • Electrical Caution

CornuFé models utilize 240V electricity. Never attempt to service the internal components without first completely disconnecting power at your home's main circuit breaker panel.

  • Self-Cleaning Hazards

During pyrolytic self-cleaning cycles, the oven interior reaches extreme temperatures (~900°F). NEVER force open a locked oven door, and ensure children and pets are kept away from the appliance exterior. Remove dense grease accumulation before starting to prevent smoke alerts.
